About Caylin York
Training and Specialties
Hi there! My name is Caylin York. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to come out of survival mode and begin the journey to a fulfilled life. I work with clients from all backgrounds, and especially work well with individuals who chronically operate under high pressure. This includes mothers, first responders, entertainers, and other high stress roles.
I graduated from William Jessup University with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.
My Mission
My healing mindset is inspired by the Japanese art form Kintsugi. Kintsugi is the practice of preparing broken pottery with a sealant mixed with powdered gold. A tender hand took what was once worthless, mended it with hope, and something more valuable than before was created.
Living in a broken world as a broken person, I see Kintsugi as a reminder that we all have the capacity and desire to put the shattered pieces of our story back together. As Jesus restores our story, we are reminded how valuable this journey is.
When I’m Not In The Office
I find so much joy in making memories with my littles ones, exploring the trails by my house, and creating new recipes in the kitchen.
