“Many people come to therapy seeking closure. Help me not to feel. What they eventually discover is that you can’t mute one emotion without muting the others. You want to mute the pain? You’ll also mute the joy.”

About Sarah Lei
Training and Specialties
Hi there, and welcome! My name is Sarah, and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. In my therapeutic work with clients, I take an integrative approach combining Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Mindfulness, along with the option to incorporate Christian faith and spirituality.
My Mission
I believe our lives and relationships are shaped by stories—stories about who we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re headed. Sometimes, these stories leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others, and it’s in those moments that therapy can provide a powerful, transformative space. Together, we won’t just talk; we’ll explore the emotions, patterns, and underlying dynamics that shape your experiences. This process requires courage and vulnerability, but through this relational work, real understanding and change can occur.
When I’m Not Doing Therapy
When I’m not seeing clients, you can generally catch me taking walks at sunset or playing board games with my husband and friends.
